.....formed prog-rock band, Head On, with Tony Qunta & Steve Kinch. Played many gigs, & recorded an album's-worth of as yet unreleased tracks. ....joined the backing band for UK New Wave star, Hazel O'Connor. Toured the UK, Europe & America. Many TV appearances, promoting hits like Eighth Day, Will You, & D-Days. ....toured the UK with Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel. Also recorded a single with them, "I Can't Even Touch You", produced by Midge Ure. ....wrote a song called Tribal Statistics, recorded by Manfred Mann's Earth Band as a single, and the opening track on their album " Somewhere In Afrika". |

recruited to be a member of Australian band, Icehouse, along with
future Pink Floyd bassist, Guy Pratt. Recorded and toured the world
with them for six years. Their album " Man Of Colours" was number one
in Australia for 11 weeks, and was awarded Album Of The Year. Andy
co-wrote the single, Crazy, which made number 4 in Australia, 14 in
America, and 38 in the UK. In 2006, Icehouse, including Andy, was
inducted into the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Hall
Of Fame. ....signed as a songwriter by world-wide publishing company, Rondor Music. ....co-wrote You're The Voice, a huge hit for ex-Little River Band singer, John Farnham. 7 weeks at number one in Australia, number six in the UK, and number one in several other countries, including Germany & Sweden. ....moved to Los Angeles and recorded a solo album, Legend In A Loungeroom". Since then has been playing in several classic rock "tribute" bands. |
